Josh's papa gave him a trap - this is his first catch (Josh was so happy!). The chipmunk was "freed" (escaped) shortly after his capture.

Guess it's not so much a "Blank Page" any more...............I'm gonna have to think of a new title one of these days............don't wanna push it though..........today's the most I've blogged (if you can call it that) since I started.

Carley came home from school with great news! She won a contest for an essay at school and she gets to read it on the intercom (to the whole school) next week. Here's her essay:

My Journey as a Water Droplet

I was minding my own business in a lake and I started evaporating. I didn't know what to do so I did what everybody else did, grab on to a dust particle and formed a cloud. Then I froze up and fell as snow. SPLAT! Onto a glacier. Then I melted and filtered into ground water. I'm filtered into the river. After that, I was so scared because a mouth came right for me. Then I got all drank up. I found a way out and dripped off the animals fur. I was absorbed into the plant. Quickly I leave the plant through the process of transpiration. It rains and I fall into the ocean. I'll never want to go through that process again. But that is my life as a water droplet.

Daniel last summer in Michigan, at his Uncle Dave and Aunt Mikey's house......now why didn't they have something like that when I was little :-)
